Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

GE Energy Management Services LLC seeks Lead ADMS Delivery Project Engineer (multiple positions) to be responsible for leading complex projects using jr. level PEs to help complete tasks. Perform assigned system integration and testing tasks. Integrate software applications for customer. Perform complex custom software development tasks. Lead advance design of subsystems and integration of total system. Provide technical direction in the system development and has general responsibility for system integration and testing. Complete complex tasks in diagnosing and fixing systems and applications problems. Ensure generation of project and system documentation and that internal testing is completed. Responsible for development of progress reports to the customer. Responsible for documentation on all tasks and development work assigned. Interface with customers on all technical, project, and business issues. Provide input to technical lead on schedules and cost estimates. Work directly with the customer to resolve any technical issues that may develop. Keeps customers abreast of technical developments. Conduct technical review of application designs and works with the application areas to ensure that project requirements are met, providing technical guidance and direction in all phases. Ensure that the system developed and delivered to the customer is of high quality and meets all technical requirements of the contract. Provide marketing support for proposals and demonstrations to potential customers. May be required to identify potential customers/sales opportunities. Work with Project Manager to create project schedules, scope changes, and execute project hand-off to customer support. Track’s progress of the other engineers, software development and integration effort and assists in the resolution of any technical issues that may arise.

Qualifications / Requirements:

The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) + 6 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree experience in software design, software integration and/or DMS, EMS, or related experience.

The position also requires 6 years of experience with software design, software integration and/or ADMS project delivery, or related experience; 6 years of experience with software systems development and integration skills; 6 years of experience with highly complex hardware and software configurations in a real-time environment; 6 years of experience with Unix, and/or Windows; and 6 years of experience delivering power system application software which includes DMS (Distribution Management System), DERMS and Modeling (EMS/DTS/Oil and Gas and Distribution) applications. 100% fully remote position. Telecommuting is permitted. When not telecommuting, must report into offices at 19015 North Creek Parkway, Bothell, WA 98011.

The salary range for this position is $182,400 to $207,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience and their education.
