This team member will be responsible for the management of technical projects for Financial Services & Solutions (FSS) from initiation through implementation, including planning, analysis, design development, testing, and implementation. The Tech Lead will continuously seek areas to mature our data environment, design and implement solutions to adhere to best practices as well as regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Aligns business units, technical development, and supports BI team functions. Develops application abstraction layers and supporting ad-hoc project work. Support the greater organization by leading various technical projects such as infrastructure upgrades, server upgrades, streamlining existing technology implementations. Partners with internal business clients to provide technology driven solutions. Develops, monitors, and owns project technical tasks and adjusts resources and priorities accordingly. Works closely with IT teams and Business units to achieve required project goals. Collaborates with Business Intelligence Program Specialists to determine level of effort required for new projects. Minimum Requirements 5-6 years of relevant experience. Technical Project Management experience. Ability to effectively communicate (written/oral) technical concepts to business leaders. Experience with tableau, SAS, SQL, Python. Comfortable making recommendations to mature our data environment, design and implement solutions to adhere to best practices as well as regulatory requirements. Critical Skills In depth knowledge of Azure Data Factory or experience migrating to cloud based ETL solutions. Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills. Intermediate-to-Advanced object-oriented programming or scripting (Python, Java C). Familiarity with Client-Server architecture, RESTful APIs. Advanced SQL Skills; Familiarity with SQL Server Always On and other database architectures. (Oracle, Snowflake, Postgres) are a plus. Familiarity with application architecture. Some familiarity of bash and Linux command line. Familiarity with cloud technology (Azure, GCP, AWS).
