We have an excellent opportunity for the Board to Dust Operator position to join our team based in Dublin 15 on our Evening Shift, Monday -Thursday, 8 hours per day, from 15.15 to 23.15. Friday 7 hours per day, from 14.15 to 21.15

SUMMARY

The Board to Dust (B2D) Operator II is responsible for setting up, operating and tends the machine when in operation.

In addition to the Board to Dust (B2D) duties, this role requires performing the Direct Fulfillment manufacturing processes to ensure on time shipments of a quality product.

To work in an efficient manner and maximize output.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Performs back flush operations on the computer operating systems eViridis.

· Audit’s material kits, issues material to the line, reports scrap and maintains clean and organized work area.

· Conducts physical inventory in the designated area

· Rotate regularly and effectively between different disassembly workstations.

· Maintains 5S order and cleanliness.

· Provide training for all new employees on the stations they are assigned.

· Maintain documentation for each station as required

· Assist new product introduction with training and documentation of standard work instructions prior to transitioning to production

  • Engage with Inventory Control team to plan and coordinate material delivery storage.

  • Assist Engineering team with aligning documentation to Jabil standards for release on JDoc.

  • Provide regular and detailed feedback to LL and support teams.

    · Complete all relevant checklists and Quality checks.

    · Ensure all relevant documentation is signed and travels with each order.

    · Adheres to all safety rules and use required protective equipment.

    · Adheres to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by LPO and LL.

    · Complies and follow all procedures within the company security policy.

    · While the B2D machine is in operation:

    o Responsible for performing the Two Person Verification Requirement (TPVR) of the removal and placing of security seals on custom pallets by recording in our bespoke Manufacturing System (eViridis) using their Employee badge numbers.

    · Other ad hoc duties may be assigned.

Essential criteria

· Minimum Leaving Certificate required or equivalent. May substitute experience in lieu of educational requirements.

· Operator II level is highly advantageous.

· Minimum 6 – 12 months Jabil experience is required for internal applicants.

· 1-2 years’ experience working in a similar role is required.

Desired criteria

· Experience in electronic manufacturing environment/heavy industrial environment is highly desirable.

· Experience in leading process improvements / lean manufacturing activities in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
