About the role

As an Intern Global Sales, you will be supporting the country-based GSO teams in day-to-day activities across all brands within Marriott International

• You will have the opportunity to support the team across several business segments (Business Travel, Airline Crew, Groups & Events and Leisure)

• You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of tasks, client communication, and analyzing the KPIs via state-of-the-art reporting technology

• You will be participating on project and account teams, executing activities that support strategic account management and team-based sales models

• Liaising with global teams located in other European and global offices to share ideas and collaborate on special projects

• Consulting customers on properties out of our global hotel portfolio best matching the request profile and individual client’s business needs

• Providing a first-class, customer service-oriented sales approach

Experience

• Previous experience in sales and/ or hospitality is a plus

Education or Certification

• High school completion or equivalent is required

• A University Degree is preferred

• Hospitality Management Degree beneficial

Skills and Knowledge

• Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)

• Initiative taking

• Fluency in Germany and English, additional languages a plus

• Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task

• Advanced business application skills (e.g. Microsoft office)
