Position overview:

As the Assistant Plant Controller, youre a key member of the Kettering team. You will contribute to the success of Ball by assisting with the management of plant accounting, financial control, financial and statistical reporting, inventory control and office services.

Your key responsibilities include:

Support with the preparation of monthly management accounts in line with corporate deadlines.

Ensure regular production reporting requirements are fulfilled in a timely manner.

Support in the creation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgets, liaising with various stakeholders at all levels of the business.

Provide financial analysis and data preparation to support the local management team.

Undertake necessary procedures to control costs and safeguard company assets.

Support with the maintenance of relevant local SOX Controls and the annual audit process

Support with various capital accounting requirements and provide project accounting support for major strategic projects in the UK.

Provide cover/support to stakeholder for Plant controller if/when absent from site.

Experience and skills required:

Finance or Business degree is desirable.

Studying (or due to start) towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA / ACCA)

Managing and understanding data across different IT infrastructure

Strong spreadsheet analytical skills (Excel)

Ability to work cross-functionally in a multi-cultural environment

Fluency in written and spoken English.
