Manager, Global Sourcing Governance & Compliance

Location: Hybrid at Kohler, WI

Opportunity

In this role, the Manager, Global Sourcing Governance & Compliance will work with the strategic sourcing leadership team to create and manage the policies, procedures, RACI’s, charters and metrics to enable the optimum approach for strategic sourcing. They will also identify risks that may affect compliance as well as liaise with functions such as internal audit, ethics, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure optimize the approach. The role will act as the lead for defining and driving the roadmap for analytics and facilitating the effectiveness of the Strategic Sourcing Council in setting direction and aligning strategic sourcing policy.

Specific Responsibilities

  • This role works across the business teams, global regions, and at all levels to support the program, to drive the best outcomes.Success in this role requires the following:

  • Maintain policy, procedures and associated RACI’s and charters in a structured and controlled manner

  • Establish and facilitate an effective global sourcing council structure and cadence

  • Coaching, educate and communicate to associates on policies and procedures

  • Define and ensure self-audits on compliance to Global Procurement Policy

  • Define Metrics and drive development of analytical tools that have high usage rates.

  • Liaise with internal audit to ensure status / actions on compliance issues are appropriate and understood with clear ownership to resolve.

  • Identify and drive actions to simplify and automate workflows to support the effective operation of strategic sourcing in terms of compliance.

  • Benchmark, analyze, monitor and report on sourcing governance best practice.

  • Review existing Kohler Co. sourcing Policies and Procedures and monitor compliance and identify risk mitigation approaches

  • Identify and prioritize analytical tool architecture, navigation, development, application, and deployment.

Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor degree, Engineering-OR- Business.

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in sourcing, audit, compliance or sourcing roles with proven capability in developing procedural systems.

  • 5+ years management experience with teams of 3 or more

  • 5+ years Global Procurement Policy compliance

  • Proficient in use of all common computer Microsoft Office software applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The salary range for this position is $102,500 - $130,550. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
