We are looking for a Jr. Project Engineer to join the team in our Loveland, CO office and will accept resumes until the position is filled.

Job Function:

Develop engineering solutions from concept through detail design, manufacturing, testing, installation and delivery.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

Ability to produce and develop design concepts into working engineering solutions. Produce manufacturing detail drawings incorporating limits and fits, welding symbols, geometric tolerances and surface finish. Produce full engineering calculations to support designs. Produce technical reports and documents. Ability to specify components/systems based on calculations and relevant practical experience. Interact with other engineering disciplines. Work as part of a design team. Working knowledge of manufacturing techniques and processes. Ability to operate both 2D and 3D design software packages. Working knowledge of current design/safety legislation. Working knowledge of designing equipment under ISO 9001 or NQA-1 Quality Assurance Programs. Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. 1-3 years of mechanical engineering work experience. Experience with equipment design. CAD modeling experience: SolidWorks, Inventor, NX Experience drafting and generating Bills of Material. Nuclear industry experience a plus. Experience with calculations (FEA, stress/fatigue/vibration analysis) preferred. Applied knowledge of GD&T preferred. Project scheduling experience preferred. This position requires the incumbent to work with export controlled items. JFT will not sponsor employment visas at this time. What kind of engineers are we?

Experience:
