Job Description

Own and maintain sections of the Controls Process of Engineering (CPOE). Support Tools and Process governance forums and provide voice of engineering customers. Collaborate with Global Systems Engineering on evolving System Engineering practices across the corporation. Ensure Organization adoption capability and readiness. Develop metrics for process maturity and conduct necessary audit activities. Support user Communities of Practice (Solution Intent Community of Practice, etc.) Identify process and procedure efficiency opportunities. Establish training materials and plans. Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices for System Engineering and incorporate learnings into local context. Coach and mentor agile teams in process and solution intent management methods. Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned office address. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the aforementioned office address.

Additional Job Description

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronic, Manufacturing, Metallurgical, Aeronautical, Civil, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management, Computer Science, Math, Chemistry, or Physics. Two years’ experience in Job offered or related. Experience must include: Two years of experience in Embedded Controls, Systems Architecture and Systems Engineering; and experience with automotive mechanical systems, electrical and electronic components, serial data, and systems architectural concepts; experience with systems development processes; experience with requirements management and requirements writing; and experience with leading activities/projects with high levels of ambiguity.
