Compensation will be commensurate with experience.Position Summary:The Information Technology Operations Architect - Desktop is responsible for the design (blueprint), creation, and deployment of Amida Care’s desktop, laptop, and printer technology solutions (end-to-end solution architecture). The Information Technology Operations Architect - Desktop provides technical expertise in the use of technology and is accountable for the overall performance of the enterprise’s solutions while ensuring these solutions work together properly (by application/discipline). The Information Technology Operations Architect - Desktop implements the transformation of business and technical requirements into overall technology solutions and works closely with all teams to implement robust, scalable solutions that interface across multiple platforms. The Information Technology Operations Architect - Desktop is involved in selecting the most appropriate desktop, laptop, and printer technology to solve the problem. Once the solution is in place, the Information Technology Operations Architect - Desktop monitors and analyzes performance (usage), efficiency (metrics) and fit (achieved business needs) to fully exploit the solution assets. The Information Technology Operations Architect - Desktop also allocates resources to achieve optimum performance, including business continuity/backup and recovery procedures for the enterprise’s needs. The Information Technology Operations Architect - Desktop develops a common set of standards, methods and procedures used for the desktop discipline and recommends enhancements. Responsibilities:Define and document image build processes including testing and QA; research and design alternative solutions to improve workstation, laptop and printer performance, usability & reliability. Manage the overall deployment methodology for workstations, laptops, printers, and Terminal Servers.Lead in the response of defining and analyzing desktop, laptop and printer issues escalated from help desk.Analyze Problem Management and Root Cause Analysis reports, and search for trends and solutions to prevent future problems; engage other teams to aggressively address significant problems.Adhere to existing processes and actively participate in the development of new processes that adhere to best practices methodology.Evaluate and anticipate the impact of technical solutions on environments; identify key performance indicators to quantify systems performance and deployment deliverables.Identify & maintain definitive standards covering but not limited to Operating Systems, anti-virus, firewalls, software and firmware patch management, MS Office, and Adobe products.Research and make recommendations on new technology products and services in support of procurement and development efforts.Possess a strong understanding of coding concepts (PowerShell, WMI, vbs).Ensure that solutions meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve issues (execution of a plan that turns an idea into a solution).Research and make recommendations on new technology products and services in support of procurement and development efforts.Amida Care is Diversity, Equity and Inclusion employer committed to full inclusion and elimination of discrimination in all its forms. EDUCATION REQUIREDBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field or, an equivalent combination of education and related work experience required.EXPERIENCES AND/OR SKILLS REQUIREDMinimum of Five (5) plus years’ work experience in Information Technology.Demonstrate design, development, and implementation of highly complex solutions.Demonstrate logical approach to problem solving and high-level analytical capabilities, programming and related technical skills showing ingenuity and creativity, including an attention to detail and an understanding of business processes and constraints.Work within a change management framework that incorporates distinct development, test, and production environments, solution promotion and deployment processes, as well as solution testing and defect management.Demonstrate knowledge of application system infrastructure, technology, and concepts in an enterprise Information Technology environment, with the ability to grasp quickly new technologies, applications, and concepts, and apply them as required.Ability to work in a team environment, meet deadlines, mentor, share knowledge and take on responsibility and accountability for assigned areas.Ability to organize and structure a growing inventory of application assets and be able to draw and maintain diagrams that can quickly convey the overall context of the environment/solution.Demonstrate experience in participating in multiple projects and ability to work with limited supervision, showing creativity, innovation, motivation, initiative, and professionalism. Excellent interpersonal, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey information to non-technical colleagues in a concise and clear way.Demonstrate understanding and sensitivity to multi-cultural values, beliefs, and attitudes of both internal and external contacts.Demonstrate appropriate behaviors in accordance with the organization’s vision, mission, and values.

Minimum Salary: 78,478.00 Maximum Salary: 98,093.00 Salary Unit: Yearly
