Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Rochester, New York. This role involves managing financial records and transactions in a busy environment. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for account reconciliation, managing accounts payable and receivable, and conducting bank reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process accounts payable and receivable.

• Conduct regular account reconciliation to ensure accuracy.

• Perform bank reconciliations to confirm all transactions are accounted for and correctly posted.

• Utilize bookkeeping software, spreadsheets, and databases to accurately record financial data.

• Implement data entry processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.

• Assist with the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reports.

• Process payroll for employees, ensuring accurate and timely payments.

• Utilize QuickBooks for managing and processing various accounting transactions.

• Operate Yardi software for property management and business operations. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Skilled in Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with Bookkeeping practices

• Data Entry skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Knowledge of Payroll processes

• Familiarity with QuickBooks software

• Proficiency in using Yardi software
