Working with cross-functional and regional teams, you implement a portfolio strategy that is aligned with the brand vision to drive sustainable growth. You support profit and loss management and future business development plans and objectives including new product development and platform opportunities.

Purpose:

We are thrilled to be recruiting into the recently vacated role of Global Brand Manager Cadbury Innovation (maternity cover). This role is designed to continuously optimize how we lead on this iconic $5bn brand, how we build on the legacy and address the needs and wants of the modern consumer. It’s a role where you’d learn how to create and deliver a global agenda, lead with multiple geographies and enable many markets where we operate to raise the bar.

How you will contribute:

  • Working with other internal stakeholders, you will support the brand portfolio strategy and priorities to enable consumer-centric brand portfolio growth.

  • You will develop annual plans, setting objectives and allocating resources.

  • In addition, you will offer recommendations for integrated commercial plans, develop and execute marketing plans that deliver on revenue and profit forecasts, and share objectives.

  • Based on your deep consumer insights and innovation, you will develop and implement integrated marketing plans.

What experiences you will get:

  • Conduct strategic and commercial analysis to identify and prioritize innovation opportunities within new and existing market spaces.

  • Craft and execute a comprehensive roadmap of innovative ideas, ensuring alignment with deep consumer insights and category trends to drive profitable and sustainable growth.

  • Design and implement global learning plans for the development and validation of new product ideas, preparing them for detailed feasibility studies and market implementation.

  • Collaborate with R&D and business units to refine Cadbury's portfolio, product and packaging strategies, staying abreast of competitor innovations to inform our portfolio strategy.

  • Pinpoint key areas for core product renovation and partner with leading business units to bring these initiatives to fruition.

  • Explore and adopt new innovation methodologies, while also engaging with external innovation agencies to enhance Cadbury's innovation capabilities and overall innovation acumen.

  • Integrate future consumer trends and insights into the Global Acceleration Team's initiatives, fostering innovation throughout the Cadbury community and exploring novel business models to engage consumers with the next generation of Cadbury products.

  • You will partner with key BUs to support their plans and help raise the bar on execution and help elevate marketing capability in the BUs across Cadbury globally.

  • You will be a steward and active participant of the global Cadbury community and facilitate best practices globally, share successful ideas amongst regions.

  • You will record, refine and communicate winning strategies, key consumer insights, fast adapt opportunities, identify “where to play”, “how to play” to feed into the Brand led innovation strategy and initiatives.

What you will bring

  • A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, ideally in Business, Marketing, or a related field

  • Years of relevant professional experience

  • Highly developed analytical skills, coupled with strong conceptual thinking abilities. Must have the capacity to understand consumer needs both rationally and emotionally, translating these into actionable innovation strategies.

  • Must be adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams across different time zones to achieve objectives.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proficiency with growth modelling tools and methodologies, including but not limited to consumer demand spaces, market and competitive analytics, and financial reporting tools.

  • Ability to derive compelling insights from market data and trends, translating them into strategic actions that align with Cadbury's business goals.

The responsibilities of this position are performed within the framework of a regional business model that is defined and managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland .
