Production Operator I Location: Darien, WI Duration: 11-12 months Description: As a Production Operator in the slitting cell, you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives! Key Responsibilities: - Under general supervision, handles and maintains flow of materials and products from warehouse to manufacturing areas according to established guidelines. - Some general duties include loading material onto machines, finished product packaging, cutting cores. - Utilizes scanning tools for recording movement of incoming and outgoing materials (RF Scanning) - Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment. - Housekeeping and other duties assigned - Teamwork and communication are an essential part of the job. - You will work in a production environment with the appropriate safety procedures in place. - Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day. - High school diploma or equivalent. - Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
