Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, and implementation with an emphasis on advanced wound care modalities. Is also responsible for coordinating and collaborating with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient delivery of patient care and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Must have good time management, effective communication and interpersonal skills. Must work well with a team based approach, be flexible with daily schedule, learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment. Those nurses in a leadership position are also responsible for directing the nursing staff in the day to day operations. Other responsibilities will be assigned per director's administration.

What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of a School of Professional Nursing

• 6 months nursing experience in acute care

• Woundcare and Hyperbaric Technologies is strongly preferred

• Current Registered Nurse license with the Texas State Board of Nurse Examiners or compact license

• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BCLS at time of hire or within one week

• National Board Certification in Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine is preferred

• ADN Required

• BSN Strongly Preferred
